A second power outage! On a day with no adverse weather! Whyyyyyyyyy

Guess who just lost more than an hour of Age of Wonders III gameplay?
Guess who didn't bother to charge his phone which is now below half-

fakeedit, power just came back on. Better plug my phone in while I have the chance x_x
Do you not have your desktop on a UPS?
Nope. Power outages are usually pretty rare around here so I didn't think about it ._.

Ah. At my house we used to have power outages ALL THE FUCKING TIME (service has since been improved) so personally I consider it almost essential to have one with a desktop.

Haven't used my ink pens because my sketchpad is down at my dad's.
Get guilt-tripped to high heaven, passive-aggressive comments that they're expensive and the like.

I WANT to use them just like I WANT to use my keyboard but have no training with fucking pianos or derivatives of such goddamnit

E: also friends using me as a post to jerk off their egos, frustrating as hell.

At least there must be a very deep well of piano-based material available online. You can certainly get started on scales and such, fingering and music theory.

On my last nerve here... I have been trying for the past 3 days to fix whatever problem is happening with my modded Fallout: NV save, and NOTHING. HAS. WORKED.

That's the results of 3 days of effort and stress. Not only is that the results, THAT'S THE SAME PROBLEM I STARTED OUT WITH! What's missing a master? I can't fix this if you DON'T TELL ME WHICH MOD IS MISSING IT'S .ESM! DAMMIT, FOMM! BE MORE CLEAR!

The wireless router I'm connecting to seems to be resetting every five seconds. I think it stopped, for now anyway.

DAMMIT, FOMM! BE MORE CLEAR!

Isn't there a log file or something buried somewhere that details the process a bit better? Pretty sure some of the TES games have that, anyway...

I have a great solution to people who rage that windows update automatically restarts their PC:
shut down your PC when you go to sleep.
restart it when you wake up.

updates will always be done then if they're available, and you will never be forced to update in the middle of the day again.

... that requires actually turning off the computer, though. I've only got two more days before the current uptime reaches a full 30 day month!

I mean, it's irrelevant in my case 'cause I turned off autoupdate ages ago, after the last update attempt near completely borked the computer and forced a rollback, but still. Shut down is for scrubs.

I don't use Linux because I don't need a second job learning how to use my home OS.

Of course you won't. Much like the young men fondling themselves in the street, Linux users constantly have to check to make sure it's still there and hasn't crawled into a programming hole and segfaulted or something.
