Apparently SS13 is using up too much internet to /just/ buffer my brother's CSI show on netflix because ya know. And simply because he's younger he yells to get sympathy should my parents come in. Because whenever a child is yelling, they're always being the victim. Nope. :/

I just wish my brother would stop yelling as his only argumentative technique.

On Windows 11, that will keystroke sequence will require you to pass a DNA test to verify ownership of the machine before you're allowed to pull up the prompt. The test will take approximately 2 hours to complete, because this is still the future, so it can be much faster than the present. The machine's real owner would have used the unique sequence of icon navigation prompts used to access administrative functions if they were in a hurry, after all.

The windows key is used in a lot of hotkey setups, though. Windows+P is projector/second monitor mode. Has been for a while now. Windows+F is "find". Have a list.

Speaking of Windows...

One of my brother's computers had a hard-drive that fucked up, so he had to reinstall Windows (8.1) on a new hard drive. At first he tried the 'legal' way.

 Anyway, he tried to install it, didn't work. 'Key already in use.'
Uninstalled it off the old hard drive, tried again. 'Key already in use'.
Ended up ringing up Microsoft to try and get the key working... They said it was some other version of Windows. Said to bring it back to the people he'd bought it from, etc. Hung up, did some more f'ing around trying to figure things out, rung up again. Explained again, got redirected to some other Windows support guys. 'Maaaaybe we'll be able to get it working in a few weeks, one month, tops.'
At this point he gave up   

and then he tried the 'pirating' method.

Downloaded an unlocker, worked instantly and perfectly. No problems thus far.
