Had to go out with my mom because she wanted me to get a new desk. Apparently my old one was too big to bring. This new one is even larger.

The instructions for building it were terrible. Missing steps and mis-marked tools. There were two sizes of screws listed in the manual. There was definitely more than four different varieties of screws that were actually supplied.

And my mom wasn't helpful at all. Made things worse, if anything. Bad at helping, looking for parts that didn't exist, moving around tools and parts and then forgetting where she put them.

And now that I'm in my room, she periodically enters and just stares at me.

Yeah that... applies to real weapons too. If it's going to get through your armour it's going to fuck you up.

Blunt weapons don't usually break through armor anyway, IIRC. They just transfer the kinetic energy through the armor to hurt you.
