Fucking paypal appears to have eaten $50 (nearly making it on par with Steam), refuses to send a fucking text to my fucking cell phone (why the fuck do I even need a fucking phone?!), and is generally being a complete and total cock.

But hey, atleast I have a fucking pomegranate. Something to throw at the screen while cursing paypal.

I was referring to Xmas.

The X as a symbol and shortening of Christ goes back all the way through Christianity's existence to the times his followers had to write in codes to avoid persecution. The X represents both the cross and the Greek letter Chi, which is the first letter in the original Greek word for Christ: Χριστός. Iirc the current way of using the symbol in "X-mas" goes back to the 16th or 17th century.

I understand you might already know this and it might be completely irrelevant to why you don't like it's use, but I thought I'd take a chance on what is bothering you about it.

People think I'm male all the time. It's a little frustrating...
Well I have a serious case of Avatar == user's actual appearance, so I haven't made that mistake :P

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

This is why Allee and I use pseudo-self-portraits as avatars. At least, it's why I do. It might be why Allee does.

I'm stuck in a tourist trap with no option but to pretend I like it, and the hotel room lacks a corkscrew so I'm going to be unable to open the booze I brought until I get an opportunity to sneak out. Fuckin' vacations.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I got Mirrors Edge, but broken glass makes the game unplayable if a single window gets broken. The game lags trying to figure out how it will all fall...

You can disable that in the settings, try disabling PhysX or turning them down IIRC. And I presume you're in the mission where That Guy gets killed? Because it was not much of a problem for me afterwards.

My avatars are either how I look when I'm home or how I hope to look when I'm old. :P

Oh yeah, the PhysX disabled glass entirely. But I can play now. :D
I was on the very first mission after the tutorial...

Yeah, that was the one. I suspect it was intended as a showcase, hence the absurd amount of breakable glass.
