Theres probably some SE/East Asian holidays and festivals that are a week long.

I'm tired of the people in my building ignoring quiet hours. We've got 24/7 quiet around here for exam week, and still I hear loud obnoxious music from down the hall, and people yelling at each other in the halls (to the point that I can hear every word of a VERY long conversation on the other side of the building.) In theory anyone being egregiously annoying gets stuck with a $50 fine during the finals period, but all of the RA's have been mysteriously absent ever since they gave everyone the lecture about it.
