Seriously those alternate physics conspiracy guys bug me more than just about anything. All that stuff, flat earthers, static universe, people who argue that there's no such thing as gravity and that planets orbit the sun due to electromagnetism, because the sun has excess electrons. All of it is wrapped in brain melting jargon. I can deal with the lizard conspiracy stuff better than what these guys write.

And then there's older writers like Erik Von Daniken and Bruce Cathie. Reading Bruce Cathie's physics theories killed braincells, i'm sure of it. he made a triangular table of the elements based on the pyramids. This new table was great at not actually explaining any of the properties of elements the way that evil government "square" table of the elements does.

I think the physics "theories" come from a desire to see that scientists are wrong.  Some people seem really attached to the idea that scientists are lying to them or that current scientific knowledge is easily disproven.

Maybe they're trying to be that guy who ends up disproving a theory, but don't quite understand the scientific process, therefore end up doing stuff like that and make a fool out of themselves.
