Technically, the US is a big step up, but there are far better places you could go. Like Canada. Or Australia. Or New Zealand. Or the UK. Basically, not the USA.

I live in a country where the president is generally accepted to be corrupt but no-one can do anything about it. America apparently has more of an injustice system than a justice system. Last I heard the British school system could get bad (might have changed). Not sure about Canada, admittedly. I doubt I need to explain much about Eastern Europe. Greece has/had a massive debt problem. You don't really want to move to Africa, there is almost nothing good here.

Admittedly, there are nice places. Australia is almost certainly one of them, Tony Abbott notwithstanding. Out of curiosity, what is his brand of terrible?
