I am 2.2 km away from the Kerbal I have to rescue from orbit. I toggle RCS on and press H to accelerate towards the Kerbal... when I realize it doesn't move. Upon visual inspection of the ship, it seems I forgot to add RCS thruster ports :|

I hate pathing in situations where are potentially multiple valid paths between two point with no easy way to check which one is better.

It makes this algorithm so much more complex than it could have been.
The programmer in me is trying to help you but I have no idea what the circumstances are.
This.
I've a graph which is composed of separate trees with bridges between them.

I can make a "good-enough" pathing algoriths inside a tree which is somewhere around O(L) but pathing among bridges requires O(L^2) (where L is the length of the path). I've tried to treefy the bridges but that makes the algorithm not "good-enough".

If you thought I was going to continue with that, I wasn't. I was responding to the reference with another reference.

Daily RRRRAAAAGGGGEEEE is that it's impossible to find a decent port of the original arcade Pac-Man. There's a Nintendo eShop version of the NES and GBA ports and a website I found that won't work, but none of the original one.

I guess I'll just have to put up with a grey Pinky, then. >:(

http://www.emuparadise.me/M.A.M.E._-_Multiple_Arcade_Machine_Emulator_ROMs/Pac-Man_%28Midway%29/15250

Just play the original arcade version ROM.

Other than that, if you want the authentic experience that kids in early 1980's got, go for an Atari 2600 emulator and get a cheap joystick. You need a shitty cheap joystick or it's not the real experience.

I hate my internet. >_>
Doesn't work when I need it--and its rather nice to miss out on generally 95% of things needed during the time its not working.

You get used to it. Practice helps, although

these two are pretty much the only "first world" countries that i know of that can't get shit done in that aspect

In addition to a chemical attack, while I was out my mother decided to go into my room and rifle through my and my sister's things for the purpose of "cleaning". She threw out or forced me to throw out many things including an old computer I specically told her NOT to throw out. Luckily, I managed to stop her and take over the project before she started going through my more... personal items, I still didn't want to spend all day cleaning. While I will grudgingly concede that the room is better cleaned, she still had absolutely no right to do that.

Close, but not quite ::) :-[ :P(I can't figure out the right emoticon for this). I'd rather not discuss this further publicly.
