You know how they say you should never read YouTube comments? I should really, REALLY start doing that in general. Especially if that's comments under a news article.
See, there's this news webpage I frequent. So today they post another of those "Fossile fuels are shit, maybe we should re-think our strategy" kind of article every site publishes once in a while (I guess they did that today because BBC also did it).
And I KNEW I shouldn't read the comments under that article. But I did it, 3 times in fact during the span of the day.
Bah, just makes me wanna bang my head repeatedly in desk.
Look, I know Earth goes through cycles of warming up and cooling down. Yes, I know much can be said about the secondary effects on environment by electric cars. And yes, I know Al Gore is kind of a prick.
But seriously, why do some people refuse to simply
think about changing some things? The basic notion of humans should always be to improve on things, even if just for the sake of awesome. Why can't we at least
talk about possible alternatives to fossil fuels without being looked down upon like we are some goddamn hippie freedom hating vegan terrorist?
