The HD is completely fucked afaik. Tons of data and a relatively new (and expensive!) HDD,  dead. I can't even boot a livecd.

I just got the steam version of gamemaker (free, of course) because the regular one won't run on my PC for some reason. It just silently fails to start. The steam one runs... but immediately says it can't compile without any errors and even if it's just one room it's rendering. The only solution is to reinstall it, which will take an hour on my internet.

I figured I might be able to still make rent with my reduced hours, but that was before I realized I forgot to take taxes into account. And I don't really know how much of a factor that will be. At least when I do financial projections, I always assume I make less than I generally do.

I hate having to work with my mom's boyfriend. Even simple, unimportant tasks have him barking orders like a drill sergeant.

He screamed that I was "fucking useless" because I wasn't filling a wheelbarrow with leaves quick enough for him.

I'm tired of his weird mood swings. One moment he's fine and the next he is screaming at everyone, and there's rarely a clear reason why. It's very hard to tell what, if anything, had set him off.

I thought that we were done working. Most of the leaves were gone and he walked off with some friends of his that came over without saying so much as a word to me.

Turns out he was not done with yard work. He freaked out on me because when he left I was apparently supposed to take over all of the yard work, despite not knowing what actually had to be done. He also went ballistic because he saw some dog waste. I already did waste duty two days ago, and there was barely any out there, but he was still angry with me. Maybe he shouldn't have let the dogs out with him when he was doing yard work then.

His friends asked who I was and he started shit-talking about me.

I can't find a half-decent world generator. My usual site tends to create one big continent surrounded by a huge, boring ocean, Dorf Fortress creates worlds that are unsightly in shape, and I can't draw for crap with a mouse.
