George Mason University has the second-worst application webpage I've seen.

For one, it commits the cardinal sin of restricting phone numbers to an arbitrary number of digits (10). Because my phone number is international, it is 12 digits long.

The second cardinal sin is that forms that should be identical aren't!

The student information form has the format of
[Dropdown] Title
[text box] First Name
[text box] Middle Name
[text box] Last Name
[dropdown] Suffix
[text box with no digit restriction] Phone Number

The parental information form hsa the format of
[text box] First Name
[text box] Middle/Last Name
[text box] Suffix
[two text boxes, with 3 and 7 digits each] Phone Number

Just as I leave the store to get change, the bus drives by. The bus I happen to need. It's either 30 minutes late, or 30 minutes early. If the latter, or the former and the latter one never shows anyway, I'll be making an angry phone call to the bus company.

Someone broke into my fucking car last night to steal the change that was sitting in it. Maybe $10 worth. And they pried out my cupholders because some change was stuck to them. I'd be laughing at that if I weren't pissed.

So my crazy math professor gave us a take home quiz. 2 questions: both factoring, both with complex roots, a pentanomial and a tetranomial.

Not even the internet can help me, it seems. Nothing I've found works with anything above quadratics. Not even his own goddamn notes are of any help.
