Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

I find it funny that a word that I'm fairly sure (I don't know no Japanese :I) means "to be" or some conjugation of that has become such an internet meme.

"It is" if memory serves. It's fun to say, though.

"It is" is a conjugation of "to be", so score 0.4 for hitting around the edge of a fairly large memory dartboard.

You know, LSP's posts like these make me afraid that one day he will have a stroke while posting and nobody will notice.

He wasn't always like this. There was a time when LSP would post things that were actually cohesive.

The infection started off mostly inconspicuous, as LSP only posted like that during minimalist RTDS but he actually (for the most part) stayed pretty well spoken until some point I haven't got to yet.

I actually just found it. He basically said "fuck grammar" and Elephant Parade ran off crying.

Eh, there's a more detailed discussion on the sad thread. Turns out it wasn't what I thought it was.

Got to the fight with Metal Gear Rex near the end of Metal Gear Solid. Tried a few times, failed, it was late so I just shut it off and went to bed. Then, in bed, I realized, I hadn't saved since before the PAL Key sequence at least. Autosaves have spoiled me. I may just move on to the second game, not sure I have the fortitude to slog through that again... so angry at myself right now.

I share your pain. I picked up Arcanum again not too long ago. It also has no autosaves. I've done the Bessie Toone mine like, 12 times now.
