He's basically constantly talking to (and occasionally arguing with) her (and if he's not talking, he's texting). And I can hear him even through my chunky headset playing metal at a decently-high volume. So when I'm trying to sleep... yeah.

My laptop's lasts <1 second. This is why we plug it into wall, yes.

... and yeah, it generally means it's time to replace, but computer batteries are kinda' expensive so :V
