My headset's right ear is messing up, or more correctly the wire connecting the two ears is.  If the wire (which is hidden beneath cushions and inside a rubber tubing anyway) isn't sitting in one exact position, it will stop sending signals to the right ear.  Things that move my headset haphazardly include, but are not limited to:  Talking, yawning, stretching, taking them off for any reason, making grandiose facial expressions, and generally sitting there for a while.  My anger is immense.

Also my left eye has been twitch all day, which I chalk up to allergies.  /shake-fist-at-nearest-tree

The natural human state - i.e. put someone somewhere without anything positively or negatively affecting his mood, no real dangers but no pleasures either - would be boredom.

The natural human state, IMO, is hunger. Once your belly is full, you have the luxury of being happy, sad, angry, bored or the range of other human emotions.

The natural human state is death, by that measure. The contents of our bodies spend almost all of their time being not-us.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

That, or "Not having been born yet." Look at all of the millions of years that have come before us.

Don't let logic get in the way of a good generalization!

har har frumple. I wiki'd it and it's an english test for non-native speakers.

I skimmed through Skyrunners posts and her english is as good as anybody else here, doubt she has anything to worry about.

I never would have guessed that Skyru's not a native English speaker, if not for her photos of Korea in the photo thread.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

Pretty much that and any occasional mention of S. Korea she's made. Like her horror stories of the S. Korean school system.

Skyru can English gooder than many English-talkers.

Well, all you need is a little creative editing.

Skyrunner writes very well that she's better than even native english speakers! How dare she!?
Like so! I am, of course, joking, and mean no offence to Skyrunner. Please don't smite me.
