I found Osmosis to be a particularly good way to gain knowledge in Uni. Just meant I had to keep myself at a lower density of knowledge at all times. Wasn't too hard.

ACTUALY UNIVERSITY TIP: Sleep is important. Sleep helps us cement the knowledge we have learnt through out the day in to our memory. An all night study binge before exams is no good if you don't sleep.

I actually think that it isn't sleep per se. It's more of the fact that sleep means you're not experiencing stuff at the moment, so you don't form new memories as much, and the mechanism of forgetting is new memories replacing old ones.

We are doomed. It's just that whatever is going to kill us all just happens to be, from a scientific standpoint, pretty frickin' awesome.

Considering that we dont really know why we need sleep in the first place, its probably best to just let the brain practice its voodoo magic.

More of a *grumble grumble* than a RAAAAEEEEGGG. I finally upgraded iPad to iOS 8 and found that they pulled a YouTube by changing some things in the safari browser in a way that I don't really like much.

Ok, maybe I do really have Nurgle's plague. It's the 5th day I've felt like shit, and my symptoms seem semi-random each day. First it was a head cold that moved into my throat and lungs....and now it's on its way back the other direction. That and I just blew my nose and the color of what came out was.....well, let's just say less rage inducing and more terrifying.

You know I did fly through Atlanta last week.....
Mmm....Hartsfield International. Pretty sure I got a horrific case of gastroenteritis from eating there last year. ATL has the worst food options of any major airport.

I don't think you're supposed to have college textbooks in your bloodstream.
Oh.

Shit, that explains why they were rentals, doesn't it?

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Basically strings of bloody red in a field of dark brown, the color of rancid blood. I know I have some nasal issues, that I've been addressing, but this just adds horror on top of frustration.

And of course, calling my mom for advice I get the "GO TO THE DOCTOR RIGHT NAOW!" speech. Which I will go do, so if I need to take yet more time off of work, I'm going off something other than my own sense of illness.

Which leads me to my other rage: medical bills. I've dropped coming up on $3k on medical bills this year alone. I'm fucking sick of doctors, fucking sick of $200 to $300 office visits, sick of my cut rate insurance, sick of my body, SICK OF BEING FUCKING SICK. I went 10 fucking years without a single doctor's visit, but suddenly when I'm employed and have money, my body decides it's time to pull out all the stops.

My supervisor yelled at me about how I did not look like I was busy, right as I was in the middle of something. Excuse me for putting more effort into getting things done than looking like I am.

Then the associate dean(presumably the reason why I needed to look like I was working like the slave I am) had ordered coffee for a meeting, but never told us where she wanted it. I caused the other associate dean(who is actually nice) a bit of panic until I had to take the cart back downstairs and interuptted the meeting delivering the coffee, accidentally slamming the door as I left(whoops). Oh well, it's not the first time that bitch has jerked me around unnecessarily.

Speaking of, my supervisor did agree that it was bullshit that they refused to inform me of a student's accusations against me, but didn't know who I could go to go about rectifying the situation.

Bills suck. My mom had a similar experience, and they had to cauterize her sinuses. Her insurance wasn't active, and she's still getting bills from "specialists" who did nothing but poke their head in and say "Ok, she's still alive!"

At least my insurance covers pretty much everything but replacement organs.

You know what the deal probably is? She probably accused you of maybe being a rapist, but with zero evidence to support it, they can't tell you what her accusation is because it would open her up to a slander charge leveled by you. Were it in fact known she told the college she thought you were a rapist, and the college did anything in regards to that claim, there'd be grounds for a slander charge.

So in a twisted way, the college may be trying to protect you both, and itself.

Shower ran out of water.

I was still rinsing and repeating >.>

Now I'm pretending to have food poisoning because going out with greasy hair is literally being Hitler.

Repeating just gives you more lather. It's a meme designed by Big Shampoo to make you buy more shampoo.

Okay, so I made up the Big Shampoo part, but it is true. You only need to do it once.

The key is to befriend a doctor. Then if you are just slightly worried about something you can just ask their opinion, and if you really need some medicine they can even write you up a prescription for it! (We've saved quite a bit of money over the years on doctor's visits this way. :P)
