Why am I the only person who seems to actually try and check my PMs/reply to them?

Its like erry time I PM someone I feel like I'm ignored for a month, and there are some replies I'm STILL waiting on...

Did I miss any? o_o

I've many pages of PMs and I'm unsure if I replied to all of them...due to net stuff.

Was having a full on PM conversation with someone and suddenly it just stopped. They're still posting regularly on the forum, so I kinda think I might have accidentally weirded them out or something.

Your PM may have been lost due to a page break.

The PM-sorting system is completely terrible. And by "terrible", I mean "nonexistent".

People strike up random conversations via PMs? People send PMs? People don't get anxiety at the thought of checking their PMs and holding conversations with people?

You're not the only one. There is a small, elite circle of people who PM each other whose members we can only guess of, but their tendrils reach deep into Bay12.

Nah. Outside of some OG related stuff*, my inbox has always been fairly quiet. Tend not to PM folks about random stuff, either, soo...

*To be fair, since I joined in on a couple of Dom4 games, my total PM number has freaking ballooned. Pages 6 through 38 are majority D4 related, and have all occurred since April. Yes, it took seven years to get to page 6, and then five months to get from page 6 to page 38. Is actually a little crazy, now that I look at it.

I have 16 pages of PMs, all of which involve (in order of frequency):

1. Modding PMs
3. Elder Scrolls shenanigans, including any forum games related to it or modding news related to it
3. People telling me to watch my tone
4. nerds being meta about my pm list

Huh. Never really noticed until I looked through. Toady, Footkerchief and WoobMonkey just in the last 9 months that I've checked have told me not to be so... words used include "ruffle feathers", "uncalled for" and "reason makes you a jerk", so maybe I should really make an effort to watch my tone.
