I get angry every time I go through Albion on my way to and from the city by train these days.
There used to be this beautiful old ornate mill building visible from the station, built from old-fashioned bricks. Seeing that was always something to look forward to on the trip. Now it's gone, apparently torn down to make way for a housing estate.
Why do people in this state think it's okay to do that sort of thing? I wish there was something I could do to prevent it, but at least I'm moving to a state with more integrity soon enough.

Moving from Queensland to Victoria. Apart from the fact that my best friend lives down there, Melbourne is a freakin' beautiful city.
The first time I visited I realised Brisbane wasn't as nice as I'd thought. I'd always admired the handful of old buildings around the place here, but in Melbourne care has actually been taken to preserve them. That and cheaper beer make it seem like a pretty cool place to live.

basicly every citys gotta be better then perth although to be fair only other capital ive been to is melborne i was blown away by the trams there great also holy shit there was a 7-11 on every corner
