+infinity to all the police-calling. Some countries have child welfare or whatever specifically to stop this kind of thing, though I'm not sure about Honduras.

I wish I had money for a plane ticket or three.

I really hope Cmega does, but calling the cops on your parents sounds like a hard thing to get the courage to do, so I feel like the chances of that happening are low. I wish there were something more we could do than advise.

The way C's parents have been acting, they might as well be very generous kidnappers.

Yeah. Call the police. I'm with BFEL's suggestion from a few pages back, now.

Edit: At least according to this, child abuse is punishable by up to 3 years prison.

As someone else from a latin-american country, I can't say if calling the police will help, or make thigns worse. Bureaucracy and general not caring for these things have made many beaten up women to end up beaten even worse in similar situations to that one you are describing after crying to the cops, who haven't done anything with the excuse of not having enough proofs (yes, for some reason wounds don't count as proofs). Times are changing gradually here, though, maybe Honduras is better in that aspect.

Call the police. Do it. Don't let them get away with this; doing nothing will just assure them that they can keep doing it. >:(

Do any friends know what your parents do? Tell them to call the cops and hopefully your parents won't suspect you or punish you for that. Though your friend may be at risk...  :-\

Short of running away and/or murder, I don't know what you can do to stop/get away from this. Best of luck, and maybe buy an axe or something that goes pewpewpewpew really fast so your parents have some incentive to not attack you. :-\

Have they ever done anything that physical before, though?

Not to sound insensitive, but it would be hard to get video footage if it only happened rarely.

Cmega if you have a cell phone, grab every bit of cash you can go to a church and call the police, In the very least the priest should atleast keep your parents away from you and give you a place to stay, as he isn't a piece of shitlike those things claiming to be parent.

Whatever you do, be careful.  One thing about relationships that are this level of abusive, is the abuser does everything they can to isolate their victim and prevent them from relating anything about the situation to the outside world.  As soon as they believe you might be prepared to take these problems outside of the household, they can get desperate and who knows what they could do.  Whatever you plan to do, keep it secret until you're ready to execute, and make sure you're set up to be completely cut off from them afterwards.

Contacting any rights activist groups (namely for children and against domestic violence) would be a good idea before calling police, to get someone on your side.

What everyone else said, you need to get out, and as soon as possible, and as carefully as possible.

Before going crazy with the running away option (which I imagine is even more dangerous in Honduras than in the US) seek help first. Whether that's professional help, help from a relative or help from a friend's family, see if there is anyone you can turn to as a short term solution to your problem.
