Straight straw blond for me. It occasionally draws comment, and people want to touch it peculiarly often. Not when I haven't washed it though. It becomes straw-like in more ways than one then.

Yup. Lot of hair loss et al is genetic, so far as I'm aware, but there's also an environmental/health factor. Stress, ferex, can cause hair thinning and hair loss, which promptly starts to go away when/if the stress does. S'other stuff like that, too, I do believe.
