Mongols used recurves, but I don't think they ever developed a compound one.

And yes, ICBMs would work better, but I only have one of those.

I misunderstood what you meant by compound or got confused with another term.

No, a recurve compound probably wouldn't work - the designs are too different.

No, recurve limbs wouldn't work well with compound cams.

Practically, I'd rather go with a nice long spear or a crossbow- something that's not so reliant on my noodle arms.
Swords are most definitely the best, coolest weapon, though. I'd love to learn to use one someday.

Crossbow, because you need to be stronk with a spear.
Alternatively try the best martial art of all human history: Bring several hundred thousand fucktons of help. Multiple noodly men with noodly spears will triumph over a lone martial god of war who's brimming with muscle.

Car problems are very bleeegh, I've lost count of the things that's broken on mine, and I still haven't got a door handle on the driver's side.

Working with Volvo IT, trying to migrate data from one server to three servers.

The IT staff is in Brazil.

The server is in Sweden.

The IT professional in charge of the server refuses to give me complete access.

So in order to do all my work, I have to go through a Microsft Lyncs meeting, where he shares his screen with me. So I have not one, not two, but THREE people staring over my shoulder while I work through an RDP application that is so slow, I might as well be using VNC instead.

And to top it all off...he requires everything be done in 45 minutes because he has something else he needs to do and can't share his screen any longer.

I hate big corporate IT departments. It's not their fault, but their security protocols are so draconian that basically anything we try do has to go through a 3rd party intermediary. Can't access the open web. Can't transfer files. Can't access the server when it's convenient for us, only them.

Frustrating.
