I'm total rubbish with any form of ranged weapons, thrown, fired, or otherwise.
That's why I prefer melée weapons, and while I can appreciate a good staff or club, I like an edge or point of some sort.

Well. Everyone here knows how to sword/weapon. I don't. I suppose I should resign myself to being first to die in the inevitable zombie apocalypse. Or at least top ten. I wonder if zombies would even survive Canadian winters. Probably better then I would.

Anyways, I used to be good at shooting, but my eyesight's detoriated to the point of mediocrity. Other than that I'll take the power to kill people with my mind over weapons any day.

Practically, I'd rather go with a nice long spear or a crossbow- something that's not so reliant on my noodle arms.
Swords are most definitely the best, coolest weapon, though. I'd love to learn to use one someday.

I'm a bit practiced with a bow. Not amazing, but okay. It's a lot of fun ^^

You people and your close combat weapons. Give me any kind of projectile weapon over any kind of close weapon.

Swords are still cool though. But bows - especially modern compound bows - are the best.

No, I don't like compound bows, they're too bulky :S
Give me a nice simple recurve and I would be perfectly happy.

Drawing upon my limited bow-knowledge, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't work. They're different kinds of bow.

No, recurve limbs wouldn't work well with compound cams.

Isn't that the design Mongol bows used?

Mongols used recurves, but I don't think they ever developed a compound one.

And yes, ICBMs would work better, but I only have one of those.
