You guys have a lot of offhand knowledge on feudal Japan >.>

Ever since:
Best part? I haven't even started my argument yet. Oh yes, this bait is too juicy to pass. If I were a metaphorical fish, I'd be metaphorically climbing the line and savaging the fisherman to death with naught but my glorious fishy fins and the fishing line held in a noose above his neck.
I am considerably more knowledgeable on the topics surrounding katanas. I wonder if I can recover my finished report on the suckiness of Katanas...

Personaly, I prefer kukris to katanas, more choppy chop power in them.
Although of everything I've actually used, I think I feel most at home with sabers, for some reason.

You people and your swords. Give me a nice stout stick over a pigsticker any day. Lot easier to brain someone with one of those, and they help you walk around.

Great, had to pull a chunk of glass from one of my bike wheels. Now there's a half-inch gash on it. Not deep, but annoying.
If I'm not mistaken, they are also only sharpened on the forward edge.
Yeah, I've never seen a double edged katana/wakazashi/what-have-you before.
I've seen reverse-bladed katanas, but yeah, I'm pretty sure most curved swords are sharpened on the forward edge. Usually, a blade sharpened on the inward curve is a sickle, though that might depend on the depth of the curve.

For a line infantryman, yes, since an spearman only needs to learn how to march, poke, and not run from the enemy. But for martial arts, spear fighting can be even harder to train.

You people and your close combat weapons. Give me any kind of projectile weapon over any kind of close weapon.  :P

Also much easier to throw a stick than a sword! Seriously, I'm not talking about a spear or whatever, just knock off a tree branch, strip some twigs, and whack someone with it. Then chunk it at someone, sure. Plenty more sticks hanging around.

I'm a bit practiced with a bow. Not amazing, but okay. It's a lot of fun ^^

Silly Frumple, a bo isn't a ranged weapon.  That's a bow :P

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

Pointed stick master race.
Your stick needs to be longer and covered in more metal spikey bits.

I have 3 swords of varying sizes. Am I swordy enough to deserve my name?

I guess I can whip out a shiv pretty quickly if you give me a bit of metal. Which you shouldn't, since I felt like shivving some people these days.

If you throw a sword, I will slap you. Swords are not ranged weapons. >:C
