E: Telemarketers. I've received over thirty calls from the same place since Saturday. It's likely more, as my phone will only record up to thirty calls per number in its call history.

Assuming you are in the U.S. I highly suggest registering your number on the National Do Not Call Registry. It takes a total of like 1 minute to do and within a month or so you should stop receiving pretty much all telemarketer-esque calls. Also if anyone isn't aware in the U.S. you can ask telemarketer companies to not call you (assuming they are actually a telemarketer company, and not something like a charity or survey source) and they have to comply with your wishes or they can be fined up to $16k.

The DNCL works wonders, but they still call on occasion. My favorite indecent is this one time, they called my father, who then gave his usual response to telemarketers:
"Have you heard of the Do Not Call List?"
to which the marketer responded,
"Get a life!"
and hung up.

DNC registering is your best option, though.

Looking the number up on Google, the results seem split on it being either a scam or from my phone provider.

I have doubts about it being my provider, as none of the numbers on their main site match the one I keep receiving. They also tend to contact by texts, and don't come up as 'No Name'.

I was joking, and also edited my post to make it more apparent that I was joking.
Still, I would much rather be Spawn than anyone from Batman.
Because Spawn.
Also, that crossover does, in fact, exist.

Edit: Granted, it kinda sucked, but it's still a thing.
