Not gaming, games. A few steam games and such are also on mac.

Anyway, I really shouldn't care, but people, please don't market that as mac-specific advice,

The best way to fix any problem on Mac is to install Windows. :P

DEAR LITTLE FELINE ASSHOLE,

GET YOUR ASS OF OF MY DESK WHEN I'M USING IT. When I'm not using it, you won't touch it with a ten foot pole. But as soon as you hear me sit in my chair, you come running, and sprawl youself over everything so that you are in a perfect position where you can obstruct my view, keep me from moving the mouse correctly, and are still in a perfect position to roll onto thr keyboard at the worst possible time. As one of the many results of this, my new save on XCOM is named "vnvkjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj" . So, yeah.

STOP DOING IT.

I don't understand what it is that can cause people to become so invested in figures in general that they can break down into tears over their favourite pop star "only" selling 2.5 million copies of an album in the middle of a store and beg people to buy it until they are removed by the polis.

I cringed. So much wrong with that viewpoint. Like, rather than wanting people to buy it because the music is good, which is debatable when it's pop, they want people to buy it because it hasn't sold enough. "We haven't sold enough of this product, please buy more so we can meet the quota!" And it's a consumer arguing that, no less.

How much more brainwashed can you get, sheeple.

One of my mother's cats is insistent, utterly dedicated to sitting in my doorway. Not inside, not outside, straight through the middle of it, ensuring that I can't close my door.

My cats love to steal chairs. You're eating dinner, get up to get some salt or whatever, and BAM! There's now a cat where you were sitting.

ensuring that I can't close my door.
Hahaha, I'unno, I always found that just shutting it anyway got the point across, eventually. Or gave their tail interesting new shapes Same with cat getting on places near me I didn't want 'em: *lift, toss, repeat until understanding is reached or cat is concussed* don't actually concuss your cats what the hell person

Less sociopathically, just move the cat somewhere else. Gently and whatnot. Particularly with the desk thing, it's almost certain it just wants attention or whathaveyou, and detects a captive audience. Find way to keep near that's not in the way. Raised milk crate, bowl, whatev'. Sufficient repetitions will eventually work, usually. You just have to be more stubborn than the cat.

Yup. The only thing I'm aware of more capable of stubbornness than humans are inanimate objects.

How can a humanoid mountain titan with a broken leg run faster than an adventurer in a full sprint? I can't run away, I can't kill him (he keeps breaking my bones or throwing me by my toes/teeth), so what do I do besides die?
