I just spent dozens of various Pokeballs trying to catch a Zygrade, only for it to struggle itself unconscious.

Yeah, that happens. It's not quite as bad as Giratina in Platinum, but it's still a pain.

They are, but nobody's usually armed with pickaxes in adventure mode.

but everybody has a knife ready for ya

Nah, pickaxes are very common. I got jumped by goblin civilians that had about 3-4 pickaxes. Same for a dwarf village. Not sure about humans.

uPLAYYYYYYYYYYYYY

As far as I can tell, I am permanantly barred from playing Far Cry 3, because it's already on my Steam account but the code was used by my dad on his uPlay account (he bought it back when we shared Steam, I didn't know about this extra layer of DRM). So it sits uselessly in my library now. Fan-freaking-tastic.

Is it just me or does that whole franchise just become less cool the longer it wears on?

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

Eh, I think 2 was better then the first one simply because it added so much goddamn stuff to make the gameplay not horrid, but then they went all "OOOO lets drag this storyline out for 3 games" and killed off their own framing device so it kinda turned into a mess.

Brotherhood is the best, imo
