Uh-oh, they must be receiving orders from the Mothership to begin preparations for the final phase... soon, mothers across the planet will rise up and overthrow humankind, showering their victims in homecooked dinners, embarrassing displays of affection, unsolicited advice and condescension.

We're doomed.

Mom thinks it's a good idea to come in to my room and fall asleep in m bed.
I wouldn't be so angry if this was the first time.
Give her hugs o-o

Another batch of YouTube changes that no one cares about, another good feature being gone.
Fuck off, YouTube, I don't need your new shit, and I definitely need your old shit.

There's this new thing called..."Artists' studio" or something, I dunno. "Studio twórców" in Polish.
And now instead of having your Favorite, Liked, History and To-Be-Watched-Later-Or-Whatever-It's-called playlists under a single button, among other things, you now have to go through that place, which has a bunch of features I'll never give half a damn about.

Uh, it's annoying and needlessly complicated.

I can get to mine just fine, from the toolbar along the left side of the homepage. Not from the top anymore though.

Stepdad decided to aggravate the situation. Before leaving this morning, he cut electricity to the house. Then he also parked a truck by the front gate to block me from leaving, which if I remember correctly, is felony imprisonment. Right now I'm at my stepaunt's house not really sure what to do now except look up a few numbers to various agencies that my stepdad has used my information to get services from(DSS, that housing thing from the other day, etc.) to report him.

And get this, my mother said that if I retaliate, she "won't be responsible" for "anything he does". Sounds like an implied threat of harm, doesn't? Oh, I have photos of that truck blocking the gate as well.

Holy crap that sounds crazy! I'm very happy to see, however, that you are taking the advice I normally give people in similar situations but they always refuse. Record everything, report everything. Your safety in such situations is paramount. The law is there to protect you so make full use of it. I know I don't post much here so it may be a bit odd coming from me, but I felt like I had to say this, because people should learn from it. We have a natural tendency to be lenient on\play down these situations when it's our family, but family or not no one has a right to threaten or harm you, and family or not, there are people who will. Best of luck and be safe! I hope things look up for you in the future.

There was a time when the police in this country were friends of the people; speeding tickets torn up, drunk driving charges quashed, even a blind eye turned to the odd murder!

Well, despite what people say, it seems to do a relatively good job at it. Local Homicide rates are usually pretty low, I've never been mugged or robbed. I guess it depends on where you are etc.
