I apologize. The link was just a short clip from the Simpsons saying "that was the joke".

LordSlowpoke said some countries have problems with women on trains. What he meant was, sometimes women get attacked on trains.

However, it was worded ambiguously, so Yoink made a joke about gangs of women and feminists attacking people on the train.

Then you made a serious reply about feminists, so I linked the youtube video saying it was a joke.

Anyway, I think your confusion is that you are correct - most feminists want equal rights for everyone (men and women). But, there are some feminists who hate men and think women should have special rights... and those radical feminists have sort of taken over the modern feminist movement (or at least they get all the attention).

So... yeah. I hope that clears it up.

I'm amused as to how LordSlowpoke apparently seriously thought I was being seriously serious, or well, not serious but, that I seriously missed the point. Or maybe they didn't and I'm just seriously confused! It's always hard to tell with ol' Slowpoke.

Just as a minor sidenote, I'm pretty sure it's this one. Having spent plenty of time wandering around in feminist space, I've never actually run into one of the female-superiority people (other than my mom, who has Issues).
