My fucking Physics course. We have classes, labs and lectures. The lectures are weekly, the rest are bi-weekly, so the idea is lectures cover what we then do in classes. Except for Reasons (TM) we lost two lectures, so now the assistant we have classes with is expecting us to do homework exercises we have no theoretical basis or formulas for, and no idea how to do them. They are also mandatory.

Non-specific. It's just a course that is supposed to give a slightly advanced overview of Physics all-around for non-Physics STEM people. The source of my annoyance right now is Thermodynamics exercises.

FUCK WINDOWS 8.

I go to install a driver update, it needs a computer restart. Nothing new there. I restart, it says it's installing windows updates or some shit, okay - at least an hour later, it finally restarts, only to tell me it 'failed to configure windows updates, reverting changes'. I try to force-restart, some thing. When it finally finishes (at least another hour later), I log in and it restarts of its own accord, and guess what?

Eh, basic (I mean really basic) thermodynamics is okay. I can't comment on "real" thermodynamics. Though if it's intro physics for non-physicists (as I understand Sergarr), then it's probably not far above what I know.

You confused us, I am the one doing the course

The thing is, we covered the really basic stuff - first in high school on Chemistry, then Inorganic Chemistry in the first semester, and we had Physical Chemistry on top of that - but the problem is, I have no idea what am I supposed to use - for example, one of the assignments asks for Third Law of Thermodynamics and I don't even know which formulation am I supposed to use.
