I am very sorry I can't help you either, Vector, but rest assured there are random internetters all over the world (us) hoping for you.
Good luck.

This basically makes my rage look like #firstworldproblems, but I guess I should be just thankful that I don't have to face the truly big bullshit.

Some people use "guy" as a gender-neutral term, I guess... although I think that applies more to the plural version.

I call everyone guy. It's not gender neutral, but it's close.

Who cares, anyway? Vector might as well be a genderless alien death robot, I'll still support her.

Is there any difference that would warrant that correction?

This is going to sound really petty right now, but goddamnit!

I get asked if I want to do something completely optional(In this case, Pictionary) and I decline.

Then my parents tell me I decline anything they do to get me to be social and tell me this is one of those times where its a fucking rhetorical question.

So now I"m just waiting to get it over with so I can get to actually having fun.

+12, nothing more to be said here.

No it's pretty reasonable to get upset over that. They should realize that there's probably a reason that you aren't that interested in doing things they try to make you do to be social. Several reasons, most likely.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
