Spent six consecutive hours in Florida sun. Forgot sunscreen. Skin is beet red.

As a native Floridian who once spent a day at the beach without sunscreen(had painful blisters over my upper half for a while after that) all I can say is: Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!


I heard that putting hot teabags on the burns works. It didn't for me though.

I think putting hot teabags on a burn is nothing more than a way for your friends to torture you. Try aloe gel instead, ice cold from the refrigerator.

I once spent a day outside in 30c humid weather that was constant sun for around 8 hours, without sunscreen. Didn't even get a tiny sunburn... I don't even know if I tanned. O.o

Cold yoghurt is also a good way to drain the heat from the sunburn. Shame it spoils in the process but eh, that's what you pay for not having an extra towel to cover yourself with
