I'm just tired of my mother and her mother. Nothing ever seems to be good enough for them

I get told I need to have a part time job, so I start searching until I eventually get a job at a factory. Then I'm told that all factory workers are losers, and that the only job I should accept is one that gives me a 100k starting salary.

I get berated for not having enough friends, and that the ones I do have are losers and I should cut them out of my life. Then when I don't hang out with them for a while I get mocked for not hanging out with them and get told my social skills are shit.

I get told I'm a super genius, which I sure as hell am not, but they seem to expect a lot from me.

And God help me if I'm ever stuck in the same room as both of them at the same time. They start attacking me, my dad, and his entire family.

The headphone jack on my laptop is pretty well worn out. This irks me.

Gonna have to find an adapter to let me plug 'em into a USB port. e-e

Ugh, tell me about it.  My dad demands 80k a year in a field where it's well-known that on average, female salaries are 50% of male salaries.  Fucking hell.  He's like, "Yeah, but you'll be competent."  EXCUSE ME DAD, BUT WHAT

Yeezus Christ, what field is that? Misogyny, Inc. or something?

That would be tech jobs in Silicon Valley.

The average female attrition rate in STEM fields is also about 50%, with the most commonly cited reason being "misogyny."

Wow. That's pretty bad.

I was just about to suggest that maybe it was working for an MRA association.

That's really fucking sexist.

I don't mean to offend anyone if that's taken offensively, but damn, people are equals, or at least they should be.

No, I am not.
But you aren't the first person to ask me that.

Maybe I should move to Canada.

If Descan is anything to go on, Canada sounds quite pleasant.

I know of many Canadians on here, and they all pretty much give me this concept that Canada is a pretty chill place to live.

More like goddamn freezing. Buurrrr. My rage, SPRING. WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU NOT HERE YET? It's teased us with warm temperatures and melting snow, then it drops right back down to -30C. Fuck that. Plus there's little to no insulation at my place, so even when I have the heat cranked, it's still fucking cold. I've just given up on keeping the place heated to save money.

Wow remind me to get on top and then use my abilities as leader to flip-flop that for a few years.
