My sister preordered me Dark Souls 2 on Christmas. Well, today is launch day and me and her go down to the Game Stop to pick it up.
They hand us a PS3 version. My sister tells them that she ordered a 360 copy. On their machine, it says that were ordered a PS3 version despite my sister very clearly telling them that she wanted the 360 copy. Well, they couldn't do anything other than email the other stores asking if they have an extra 360 copy they can exchange for the PS3 copy. I'm so pissed because this Game Stop has always fucked up her preorders one way or another. Now I can't even play DkS2 on launch day.

DS2 was announced back in 2012 I think. It just came out today for the XBone and the PS4. But the European release is on Friday. And PC players are stuck waiting until April 25th.

E: I've never had luck with pre-orders. They've always been messed up in some way or another. One time the clerk even lied to me, telling me that they ran out of the pre-order bonuses.

We have a saying in tagalog about this. "Mamamatay ka sa hiya." Roughly translated to 'You will die from too much shyness'
Wherein 'hiya' has no direct english translation (could be Shame, Shy, and in the southern parts of the Philippines, honor. Though this usually is with the sentimentality of the meaning rather than the direct meaning of the word itself). And also connected to how we value each other's person (...Is there gender difference there? There's nearly none here so I guess that's affecting you?)

My point: TALK TO HER DARNIT. THERE'S NOTHING MORE THAT WE DON'T LIKE OTHER THAN OUR REACTIONS BEING "ASSUMED" by another person, wherein this 'assumption' equals 'Oh gods this is what she will do' instead of any foresight.
