You'll have to be more specific than "Baptist" if you actually want to convey what they believe. It's sort of a free-for-all denomination with zero centralization. That's why there's a billion different Baptist churches that believe different things.

That's how Protestants roll.

Should Jehova's Witnesses or some other group ever knock on my door, I fully intend to explain to them in a very calm and reasonable manner that they are heretics and ought to be burned, so that their souls may be cleansed from their sins and they may yet have a chance to enter paradise.

Wow. Does anybody know how much control they have over Wall Street?

Also, there's a chance this may be a fake. There needs to be a serious investigation from pretty much every possible neutral party, preferably done in ways that will avoid bribery.

The real solution is to smash capitalism.

Looks like there is a big conspiracy.

Time to make that tinfoil hat I suppose.

IIRC they were a parody of Trotskyte parties, actually, whom after the death of Leon Trotsky tended to splint into a large number of progressively smaller groups.

Really? I thought they were just a parody of fringe groups in general, as they have a tendency to act in such a way.

Not specifically Trotskytes, the British Far Left in the Seventies in general. There was, for example, the Communist Party of Britain, the Workers' Revolutionary Party, the Independent Social Democratic and Labour Party, the Workers' Party, the Northern Ireland Labour Party, the Democratic Labour Party, the Socialist Unity Party... you get the picture.

Android. Just...Android.

It is some terrifying perversion of everything Linux was intended to be - that is, of an OS where the software is made by people who have an interest in it, the admin is God, the user is expected to know what's going on with the device, and nobody sends you any ads.

But that's abstract - thing is that I have that bug where a WiFi-only tablet suddenly thinks it's a phone, and spends all your battery on nonexistent cell radio. After snooping around a bit, I decided I jut needed to kill phone.apk with fire.

That's where I discovered I can't get root access on my own goddamn tablet. On what is technically Linux.

Fuck you, Android.

Do any of you guise have any experience with Tizen or Met or MeeGo or whatever?
