Had to walk home (meh, good exercise), tried playing Dota 2 and my team was freaking stupid (I actually ragequit when one of them made fun of me for saying why the enemy team is dominating us), tried playing TF2 and instantly got 800 ping, that thing from yesterday still got me a bit riled up, the usual "OMG MASTERWORK IS THE BEST MOD EVAR" stuff on /r/dwarffortress.

You could try taking a break from reddit.

I... don't even go on it. TPP is the most reddit exposure I've had.

I've always treated it like I do with xchans.

I'm really pissed at finding out one of my friends smoke cigarettes. I hated putting up with my mom smoking and I don't want to put up with one of my closest friends smoking.

I've been having agonizing foot pain for the past week that's been keeping me up at night, and now I'm, once again, having to endure this pain. I usually go to sleep at ten o' clock at night. It's two o' clock in the morning, and I'm being kept up once again by foot pain.

I've been to the doctor recently to figure out the cause, and it turns it it's because I have flat feet. So now, I need to go and get orphitic inserts in order to have these nightly visits end...but I need sleep before I can get to the store.

Health inspector came yesterday, resulting in increased stress all around at work. The good news is, my section, the dish room, passed with flying colors, despite me not knowing where the handwashing station in the room was(more accurately what, since it was that thing in the corner I never knew what it was for), and upon testing it later on, found it didn't even work.

The other day, the bitch supervisor tried to blame me for leaving a catering where it was, despite the fact that, as far as I know(and it's not my job to know), the event it was for ended after I left, and it's not my job to know to go out and pick that up, it's her job to tell me to go and pick it up. So apparently, she has a problem not only with me not doing her job for her, but also not suddenly knowing I'm supposed to her job for her.

I know I'm a couple pages late, but re: That headphone stuff.

I've got a pair of headphones that are older than I am (Hell, they need an adapter to fit into modern headphone jacks), and they still work great.

I don't get these people. They enjoy games by having no challenge whatsoever?
They don't. They just enjoy ruining it for everyone else.

Mind you, there can be fun found in a game with no challenge, too. Creative mode stuff, or just the joy of bending a world to your whims or exploring it unfettered. It's its own sort of enjoyment, yah.

The latter doesn't really apply to multiplayer games, though. That's mostly just folks getting their jollies from being a jackass.

ever since creative mode stopped being the default mode of minecraft, i am yet to see a server where people actually play mixed market creative/survival (separate maps for creative and survival, no inventory transfer between both) or people playing clean creative without being absolute dicks about it

I spent half the morning trying to argue theology with a Baptist.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

Funnily enough, Baptists just showed up at my front door. Thankfully, all they did was invite us to their church and left, instead of trying to press literature on me for 10 minutes.

You'll have to be more specific than "Baptist" if you actually want to convey what they believe. It's sort of a free-for-all denomination with zero centralization. That's why there's a billion different Baptist churches that believe different things.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

The card my Baptists gave me just said "(Local Location) Baptist Church". No idea which denomination, unless that actually counts.
