Thank you Sizzler for the additional stress on top of a week that's already nearly given me a heart attack. I've called them over and over again, had two interviews, talked to at least three managers over the phone, and I still have no idea if I've got a job or not. It's been three weeks since I applied. This is for a position washing dishes.
Wow, normally when I hear about Sizzler contributing to heart attacks it's by the more direct route.

I hate cats. Furry little shitheads.

Woke me up by sinking its claws into my leg this morning, pissed on my clean clothes, and clawed the hell out of some of my bags.

They keep trying to chew wires too, which is a pain in the ass.

Unfortunately they aren't mine to give. They belong to my sisters.

I am so sick of family. I'm tired of life becoming more difficult with each passing year because of other people's batshit lunatic decisions. I'm tired of mom letting clearly toxic people back into our house "because family" and then acting surprised when life quickly turns to shit. Everybody seems to be completely happy with the status quo though, because all of their best plans involve the state lottery and a lot of prayer.

I can't get a job fucking anywhere, which means I'm stuck with them until a miracle happens. I feel like I'm going to college this Fall because there's literally nothing else I can do, unless I want to start panhandling. It's not like any of my more (emotionally) stable relatives would be willing to take me in; half of them have been missing from my life for ten years or more. I'm not talented enough at anything to earn money just on skill alone, either. I'm fed up with life continuing like this, and I'm fed up with not being able to do anything about it.

There's bound to be worse ones. He's racist as hell, but he's not one of the Aryan master race crowd (or so he claims). I can actually imagine that guy having a decent conversation with a black guy.

Not by much. Modern racism isn't Racist-Racist, it's Not Racist-Racist. You can't get away with naked bigotry anymore. It takes some kind of "I'm not racist but" justification, and it can be a lot more benign-seeming than that ("I don't hate black people, I hate black culture" is one I hear too often).

i don't know man, any culture's got points which you can hate for reasons varying from irrational to completely justified but that doesn't make you a bigot now does it

now hating a culture wholesale is where the bigotry comes in

Really depends. Do you attribute a trait to a culture based on little other than opinion or stereotype? That's bigoted. ("Muslims blow things up.+ While true, it's also a stereotype.)

Do you attribute the traits of a culture to an individual of said culture whether or not you know them? Definitely bigoted. (Ahmed (blows things up, hates women, hates America) because he's Muslim.)
