Ice Road Truckers, Deadliest Catch, etc. Everyone's watching to see someone fall overboard. They should just straight up make a Thunderdome show.

I've long said this. They're show that are watchable because of the premise people will be hurt. Bass-fishing shows don't get that kind of play. I tend to feel morally grey after watching those shows. The people as characters and their environments are worth watching but....the amount that Discovery plays up tragedy, right down to the edits and music is kind of shameful.

I watch the gold "mining" shows to see Murphy's law play out in every scene. I swear, the Discovery guys must be sabotaging things between camera changes.

Also in minor raeg: Bay12 is running so slow that I can't figure out whether its the forum or my internet.

Attempting to set up a new gmail account forces me into Google+.

Deleting that account and then attempting to make a youtube account as originally planned also forces me into Google+. Deleting the Google+ account again removes the Youtube account.

...I heard Google+ was annoying. But this is absurd. I didn't realize it was this bad.

Fine, screw you Google, I'll go use Soundcloud or something that's actually meant to host audio, rather than your awful Youtube/Google+ monstrosity.

Hah. I made both email and Youtube accounts before the Plusening, so I don't need to deal with all that nonsense.

You could just make a Google+ account, y'know. It's not like you need to actually use it.
