When this passes and you're under less stress, you might give pseudoephedrine a try? It is a stimulant, but I wouldn't recommend experimenting with drugs while you're already stressed and fatigued, not to mention presumably on a shitload of caffeine (because synergistic side effects are not yay).
Sounds interesting, but I suspect I'm too young to get hold of it without raising a few eyebrows. Also I have a barely-healthy BMI, so I'd rather not play around with anything too much more extreme than caffeine.

Oh yeah, fun fact: with a reducing agent and some hydrochloric acid, you can make crystal meth out of pseudoephedrine. Not that I ever tried.
I actually knew that already, due to the tik problem here. So as the obvious solution, a couple of years back the Life Orientation class I was then in was shown a documentary about people making meth in their back gardens. Admittedly, that teacher was fairly unusual (not in the druggie sense, just as a teacher), I don't think the video was in the standard curriculum, and there wasn't really any information about how to make meth beyond what you posted.

Well, that's pretty much all you need.

My Organic Chemistry lecturer pretty much told us how to make heroin, claiming that we could find worse things on the internet easily (not out of the blue - she was talking about anhydrites, and that's what you use in that reaction).
It's pretty funny that they're so paranoid about acetic anhydride when the other reagent you need to make Heroin is morphine, which is... not exactly easy to get.

Re: Meth making: That's pretty much the worst way of synthesizing Meth - not suitable for large-scale production, uses expensive, watched and hard-to-get reagents (just try buying red phosphorus - there's a reason addicts scrape the stuff off matchbooks) and finally does not yield a very pure product. There's better routes starting from styrofoam, for crying out loud!

Yeah, but we're not exactly considering running a meth-making operation, are we?

ARE WE?

And yeah, styrofoam or some other stuff (like some CD cases), is much better, you need to depolymerize it though. And let's maybe end this tangent before FBI starts continues to watch us.

We are doomed. It's just that whatever is going to kill us all just happens to be, from a scientific standpoint, pretty frickin' awesome.

Revival of the Bay12 Space Program, because our funding problems have been solved? I'll ask Guardian to keep the Mexicans at bay with his Laser Tanks.
Just out of curiosity - what route were you thinking of? (Might be better to continue this via PM...)

Should we send it to NASA?

Tell them they can fund themselves if they start mass-production of meth?
Well, it worked in Breaking Bad.

Just came home, only to discover that someone locked the door and i forgot my keys.

Cue an hour of running from house to house in the middle of a snow storm trying to get a phone, so i can call someone to open up. Of course, when i finally get a phone, no one answered.

Currently sitting in my school, trying to pass the time while i'm waiting for my legs to warm up. Thank goodness for free internet  :P

Why in the world did they lock the damn door? It's not like burglaries are common here.

My wake up call is when the police decided to open my front door and stick their heads inside my house at 1:30am in the evening, because my storm door was "ajar." The first question they asked me when I heard the noise and came down stairs (with no shirt on in pajama pants) was "DO YOU LIVE HERE?!?!" I was so tempted to kick the door into their faces, not just because of the intrusion but because of the completely stupid and somewhat racist question.

So yeah. Lock your doors. Because cops are everywhere.

I, for one, enjoy leggings which show Cali gal butts.

I redact my previous statement, been angry at someone with a wide disposition and was projecting.

No the cops saw the door open and took it upon themselves to trespass on my property, and tacitly accuse me a of being a prowler. When my door is kicked in and standing wide open, then they have probable cause. In the plains where winds gust over 30 mph and storm doors get flung around like leaves as a matter of course, that's not probable cause.

I didn't know Nenjin was black.

I'm assuming black, because cop racism tends to go towards black people. Or hispanic people.

I'm not sure if I thought you (as default) were white, or if I just don't think about peoples race online at all, even to the point of a default. I think the latter, though. :V

For every attractive girl in yoga pants, there are two chunkers and one super chunker stretching the nylon to it's limit.

(This may or may not be an accurate statement.)

Can we all stop raging because we saw a woman wearing clothes we found unattractive on her?  Like, seriously?

It bothers me when people complain about other people's appearances. Body shame is a no-no.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.
