I have seen this stuff before. I, of course, think it should be illegal to pay someone to kidnap and brainwash your kids, but some people have more money than brains and/or compassion, and some people just don't want to have the bother of spending five minutes to talk to their kids to figure out what's wrong, if anything is wrong at all.
