I think that's only the condescending, incomprehensible, and hypocritical part of tumblr.

It's like saying 4chan is summed up in a single image of male genitalia. There's more to it than just that.

But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Damn, I miss my grade school and high school science fairs. Some group usually does an experiment with chickens.

I don't

I hate group projects so much I generally ask if I can do them on my own.

Sometimes it's annoying to get to the porn without having to bother with everything else :(

If that's your source of porn, you must have varied taste then. There's plenty of easier places get porn.  :-\

Yeah, it's like, make your blog about smut or your latest vacation photos. No one in their right mind wants both together.

Haha, yeah, I usually go to more streamlined places. Sometimes I want to check out a particular artist though.

I think I've found all of tumblr compressed into one image.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Wat.
This is more like 20% of trans* people on tumblr summed up in one image. Although it's true that most trans* people are pretty biased against Cis people in general.

When did the asterisk get added?  I saw it for the first time, a few days ago.  I've never seen it before that.

On the whole children thing, I did not mean to generalize anyone or anything, it just really helps me to blow of steam somewhere, be it trough writing or talking. Sometimes i really just want to _RAGE_ for 5 Minutes consequence free to get the stuff out of my system.

I just discovered that i probably lost my Absence-Journal for Trade school, which sucks big time because I have to show it to one of my teachers TODAY. The last time I remember having it was right before christmas holidays, I gave it to one of the teachers so he could sign some of the entries. I wrote him a Mail asking if I forgot it in his classroom, but he hasnt replied yet. AUGH.

If i dont get this thing today I cant show it to my sports teacher, which means im gonna get a "lesson not attended" entry, and depending on the teachers mood also a call into my office. Im seriously not in the mood for a 2 hour talk about "responsibilities" from my Boss, because I lost this goddamn booklet. Its not like I carry half a truck worth of Books and papers allready, no, we now have to carry around these stupid things too.

Also, while im ranting, the whole process for excusing absences is ridicolous in itself:

If you miss a lesson, you need to make an entry in the booklet and get the signature from your parents, from your boss and sign it yourself. Keep in mind that depending on the week, this means I have to make 30 minute drive to my office, get a signature and then drive back before school starts. You then show it to the teacher in question, who signs it. THEN you have to walk to the secretary's office of the building the class was held at, get a signature there and also confirm by ID that, yes indeed, I am me. Afterwards the entry gets copied into the system and is put into the archive.

I forgot how many times I had to do the trip twice or even thrice, because some of the teachers just take the booklet at the start of the lesson and then give it back to you signed later. So I have to literally "chase" this thing around the entire building, which gives plenty of opportunities to forget or loose it somewhere. Also, one of the teachers I have is kind of forgetful, so either he forgets to sign it entirely, or he manages to write my name wrong every time. Its bad enough that he pronounces my last name like its some sort of summoning spell from The Elder Scrolls, he also manages to find 50 different ways to write it too.

RE: Children/Bad Parents.

I am a parent. I suck at it, but at least I know that I suck at it and try to get better at it. That said, my child doesn't go around breaking stuff. She respects other peoples' property because I taught her to. She knows not to touch stuff at a store, and usually doesn't unless I do it first. (I am a bad influence. I suck at parenting, remember?) She doesn't go running around the store screaming and throwing things, or throwing tantrums in the store. She constantly gets comments about being "well-behaved," and I always try to brush them off and just respond that she's a person, not an animal. I've done a pretty good job of instilling "this is appropriate behavior for this situation." She is also learning the value of things, and knows not to touch expensive things.

Even though I suck at parenting (I can be very emotionally distant, draconian, and overbearing,) at least my kid won't piss you off. I've tried very hard to make sure of that. Sure, sometimes she pushes my buttons on purpose, but that's just part of dealing with other people in general, I guess.

One of the many reasons I do not wish to be a parent is that I'm pretty sure I would end up being somewhat like Gendo Ikari.

I'll probably be one of those overly permissive parents with crazy kids.

I saw it for the first time a few months ago. It basically covers not just transgender/transsexual people, but genderqueer, transvestite, bigender, etc. people too.
(On that note, in case you were wondering what the difference between transgender and transsexual is; transsexual is usually reserved for those who've undergone either top (ftm) or bottom (mtf) surgery. Transgender is mainly used for people who are pre-op, but AFAIK they can be used interchangably.

Thanks, I wasn't expecting it to be so inclusive.

I didn't find out the transgender/transsexual distinction until about a year ago, after quite a bit of searching through blogs and medical websites, and even that took months.  I wish that I could had access to information like this 24 years ago.  All I had was a Medical Dictionary, and those only tell you so much.

When I see bigender, I read it as big-ender, as in the Lilliputian faction in Gulliver’s Travels. x3
