Fun fact, my grandparents have been getting one (actual people, even, not a machine!) from Jamaica for over a year. Several calls a month, sometimes multiple ones in a single day. It has not stopped, despite blocking numbers, despite calling the law, despite telling them no in a hundred different ways, despite threatening bodily harm. These are some persistent bastids. It'd almost be admirable if constantly trying to steal money from the elderly wasn't something a person should be maimed over.

*With a side order of fraud, identity theft, and scamming.

We keep getting phone calls from an automated spam calling device mabob that keeps telling us we haven't had a new boiler or solar panels installed, because apparently EVERY HOUSE IN THE UK NEEDS THEM NOW! IF WE DON'T DO IT WE ARE BREAKING THE LAW!

2: Absurdity. Really, the idea of someone livestreaming their death is unexpected and hard to believe for most people. That makes it even more absurd when they're watching and it actually happens for reals. Being unexpected is one of the most important parts of what makes something funny.

Something is bleeping. It's loud, happens once every so often and is driving me nuts trying to find out what it is. I unplugged the likely culprit and removed another possible culprit yet it continues. Halp. So... frustrating!
