Patient wont take the chemotherapy as she's supposed to because she knows her body better, she says. In a 15 minute rant.

It really makes you wonder why such people seek medical attention in the first place, if they're so amazingly skilled.

Chemistry test. One of the tasks was to give the mechanism of the reaction of a particular benzol-derivative (3-chlorine-4-bromine-nitrobenzol, to be precise) with NH3. The problem is that it's an SN(aromatic) mechanism, and I thought it was SN(arine) for some reason. This was the most important task of the test, and now I've given my scumbag chemistry teacher a reason to fail me. Fuck. Fuckfuckfuck.

I could never be a doctor. My response would have been, "Fine, that's your choice. Go ahead and die, then. I'll be over here saving people who want to live."

"Oh, we arent doing proper work today are we? I mean, its 3 days until xmas... ah, whatever, I dont need to pass your course, as I will get by on unemplyoment benefits just like my parents..."

Said student then proceeds to be a obnoxious disruptive jerk for 20 mins, until told to leave the lab following him getting slapped by a female student after some horribly innapropriate comment. This then led to a 10 min slanging match about how apparently I only pick on him, nobody else... apparently everyone else is disruptive, and none of the stupid incidents are his fault, always someone elses. Him failing is not a big deal - students fail due to thier own choices all the time. This ass wants to drag the ship down with him for shits and giggles. To top it all off total jerkface wants to join the armed forces if/when he graduates - if he cant hack me telling him what to do and how to do it, some Drill Sgt McNasty will rip him a new asshole.

Of course, it's possible the drill sgts would sort him out, give him some respect for authority. The idea of deliberately living off unemployment benefits "just like his parents" disgusts me. Fair enough if you're actively trying; I know how hard it can be to get a job, much less adecent one. But to not even try... how pathetic.

Where the heck do you live that someone can collect unemployment benefits easy as that? I applied a few times after losing other jobs and always got turned down.

Huh. Could've sworn that word had a "p" in it.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Some people seem to pronounce it with a p but it doesn't have one. Just like some people pronounce "both" with an l.
