Well now I have to eat some humble pie. One of my down the street neighbors just came by and dropped it off. This has been your regularly scheduled edition of 1st World Raeg.

You don't have to be THAT humble. The UPS delivered it to the wrong address and and was supremely unhelpful. Just be thankful that your neighbor was not an asshole or an opportunist! The UPS screw up could have ended very badly for you.

The tigers have always been a subspecies of Khajiit. Now they aren't, unless these Senche-tigers are somehow unrelated to Senche and Senche-raht Khajiit.

It's a bit of an important spelling. Marukh of the Marukhati selectives who danced on Adamantia to excise elven influence from Akatosh (thus creating Him in the process)? That's a big event. That's like if Peter Jackson kept referring to "Mogroth Baulgir" or "Saunor".

Could always be some conflicting reports. Remember, children, TES Lore is a load of Mind-Fuck, WITHOUT getting into the Monkey-Truth. Need I remind you of KIMMUNE, the time-traveling space mining robot who's physical form is strongly hinted to be The Eye of Magnus, while at the same time she is the current leader of the Aldmeri Dominion during the time of TESO?

MK's only word on KINMUNE's relation with the Eye of Magnus is that he likes the idea.

I figure it's more likely that the Eye of Magnus is the result of KINMUNE's Varliance++; Varliance is a term for stone-magic E.G Varla stones, and the Eye of Magnus is pretty clearly a very, very powerful, very magical piece of stone.

KINMUNE was originally written way back in 2011 and released on September 11th (Kurt Kuhlmann's birthday). In it, she ends up trapped in Saarthal during the Merethic era and spends the next 4000 years or so learning Dwemeri stuff and turning it into Varliance++. The next few words after "Varliance++" are "She escaped the now-forgotten ruinings of Saarthal to seek a refuge from which she could exact her wrath", so it's pretty clear that she left way before Skyrim; to be exact, she left in the Second Era. What she left behind is likely her Databanx or something of that nature.

I've been waiting for a package for two months now.

Apparently it got lost in Miami.

In all seriousness though, that is a bit fucked up.

Google, you sons of bitches, I shouldn't need a Google account to install browser extensions!

EDIT: This could conceivably force me to switch browsers entirely the next time I would otherwise need to reinstall this one (for instance, if migrating to a new OS install). I'm avoiding Chrome in the first place to minimize the degree to which I support Google's identification fetish, but forcing this on everyone who uses a Chromium fork at all is enough to kill the entire thing for me.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Just love America. The police are known to be shitlords, and yet, they can get away with nearly anything with near impunity.

Quick! Someone call Grimith!

And yet, the explanation they're going with is that, by running into traffic and then putting his hand in his pocket, he created a situation where the police were obligated to shoot at him, and so he bears responsibility all the consequences of their decision to do so. Interestingly, every comma after the word "by" in that sentence marks a point at which nothing makes sense.
