Piece of shit wireless headset crashed again... once again I have to wait for the thing to drain all its charge so it will turn off itself before I can start using it.

Last fucking time I buy a wireless headset... last fucking time...
Can't you just remove the batteries?

From what I read, removing the battery on this particular headset is a bit of a pain in the ass. I said the first time it happend I would give the headset another chance but come monday I am returning it on my warranty.

Goddamn Brazilian customs!

Was checking out the precise import restrictions, and even ignoring it in theory, guess what? Since my netbook was not made in Brazil and I don't have the recipe since I got it as a gift a few years ago, if I take it with me on my trip, it'll count on my import limit when I get back, and since I'll probably already be skirting if not going over it already, I'd have to pay the bloody ridiculous tax, that is, 50%, over the value of anything I bring from my trip. It's a Asus Eee Pc 1005HA, which is not even sold anymore, but a quick look through ebay seems to put the current price at around 100-150 USD, which means I'd be paying 50-75 USD just to take my netbook in the trip. All because personal computers do not count for the goddamn exemption for personal items, which is bloody ridiculous.

tl;dr: I'll have to pay 50-75 USD to take my own personal old netbook on my trip to Europe.

Couldn't you forge/fabricate a receipt, claiming you bought it on ebay? Bonus points for actually selling it to yourself ;)

Why do people keep making things like this? I was okay with people hacking to get shinies but this is just going to take away all the fun from the game.

In XCOM mutons one-shot my soldiers ,even though they're in skeleton armour. Now my next mission lineup has 3 squaddie snipers - I've had three missions in about a week, so my repalcements haven't arrived yet. Damnit.

I think skeleton armor doesn't actually provide any armor, and may actually decrease health, as a trade off for giving you the ability to grapple.

This, though it doesn't decrease health.
Now if they were oneshotting people through Titan armor...

Not, it's +3 armour, +10 defense, +3 move and the grapple hook.
The previous armour, carapace or something, gives +4 armour.

So it's rather annoying that the best armour I have is irrelevant against the might of the aliens. The same problem occured at the beginning with thin men: they were powerful enough to one-shot and accurate enough to hit almost every time.

I really wish you could choose the specialisation of your soldiers. I don't need 6 snipers when I have a single heavy, a single assault, and no support soldiers whatsoever left.

Research Archangel armor and equip all those snipers with the jumping genemod. Then send the one Assault running around the map while the squad sight snipers all go to high ground and snipe everything from everywhere when the Assault sees them.

The problem is I need better soldiers now. If i had time and money enough to equip them it wouldn't be such a problem, but i don't have laser sniper rifles yet or titan amour - skeleton is the best i have.

I don't hate myself that much.
...
No, but seriously, that kind of stuff annoys me to no end. Especially in my school, where I can count the computer literates with the fingers in my hands (it is well-known that I am better than the computer class teacher).
I once had someone back away in shock and get scared because I used "close all" to close a bunch of open windows.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I do find it sad that even for this day in age we still got teachers like that around here.

This is pretty much how I feel about the fact that my Social Studies teacher, who has somewhat bad grammar, also teaches English. He misuses its/it's, and his stuff tends to be full of awkward sentences.

Sometimes I feel like running up to people and reminding them that commas exist, because nobody seems to be able to remember.
