Had that exactly once. Luckily, the toilet is close enough to the bath tub that Ican lean over and keep it off the floor/myself.

I originally saw his post unspoilered, so when I saw this I thought
  • This is a new post from Cmega3
  • "not for the queasy". Must be a continuation of the last post.

Sigtext. Enticing, yes? If you do not know where things I have "sigged" go, this page will explain.

Alex Agnew did a sketch on that once. It's in Dutch, sadly. Not sure if you'll be able to find a translation.

That is my biggest fear whenever I'm seriously sick. It's one of those life-experience moments I think I can live without, thank you very much.

Some dickbag thought that tipping didn't apply to him.  So I forgot to give him his soda and left to do my other deliveries.  Then I drove around a bit shaking his soda.  Then he called for his soda so I brought it to him and left before he opened it.

I always tip excessively. You know when I don't like you if I give you a 10% tip, because usually I tip like this:

Purchase price: 11.63

Ah, okay, I say to myself. About three dollars is about 25% of this. I will leave three dollars and whatever coinage I receive from breaking my twenty behind on the table as a tip.

Purchase price: 7.89

Ah, I say to myself, about two dollars is around 25-30% of this. I will pay with a ten and leave all the change.

Purchase price: 15.35

Ah, I'll pay with a twenty and have them keep the change. Four dollars is nearly a third of the price. More than adequate.

I worked in a restaurant. I know how to tip. You know what happens when you tip well and go to the same places regularly? You get AMAZING service. You know what happens when you don't tip/tip poorly and go to the same places regularly? Nothing pleasant.

I never tip below 20%, and tend to do a memorably high tip when I first go somewhere. It does more than you might believe...

My worst no-tip as a delivery driver is when it was during a heavy blizzard. There was so much snow on the road I couldn't get my car up the hill to the dude's house (it kept sliding back down), so I parked at the bottom and walked the rest of the way. When I got there, I was so covered with snow the dude made an audible gasp. I think I even mentioned I had to walk up the hill. Still no tip.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.
