There's this fucking high-pitched sound in my room that's been going for hours since I woke up. At first I thought it was just an alarm clock in another room but now I'm almost certain it isn't. It seems to be coming out of the walls from every direction. My roommate claims he can't hear it, but fuck him.

It's only in here. And it's driving me crazy. I need to keep my earbuds on at all times to not become exponentially more frustrated.

The devs changed the loot tables for the Xth time around (which in itself is fine, beta's beta etc...), but this time they ENCRYPTED THEM, and as far as we know won't release them anytime soon, if ever. As the whole game revolve around said loot tables, keeping them hidden from the community isn't exactly the best idea ever.

As you can guess from me posting here, this generated quite the RAEG.

I also know the sound. I find it to be caused by either old box TVs, other electronics, or plumbing. My guide: Go round turning every source of water you have (toilets, taps etc.) on and off and see if it stops. Then try turning off all the electrical devices at the wall. Hope you get rid of it soon. It's usually caused by one of the bathroom taps for me.

Fucking hell.

I spend most of my night trying to a damn thing to work on DF, finally say fuck it and post a thread on the modding forums and spend thirty minutes napping.

Two cups of coffee later and I'm operating normally.

Finally after I finish studying for a test tomorrow, take a nap.

Half an hour later my dad is waking me up because... WHY THE FUCK NOT.

I mean all I did was try to get some sleep in. Sure I stayed up most of the night, but would he care that something was produced? No. All he thinks I do at night is watch, as he calls it 'Idiots on youtube' and whatever else teenage kids do. Smoke weed or something

Got a bit ranty, sorry, just a bit frustrated. Not going to say grumpy because that term has hit my ears so often in the past week that it's lost meaning as a synonym for angry.

Pre-post edit: I don't have any parental issues, just average teenager and first world problems. Feel free to ignore this in its entirety, I just needed to vent.
