Goddammit. I told my dispatcher two hours ago that this place was incredibly busy and my chances of getting loaded tonight with my remaining time were minuscule, let alone actually making any progress on the trip. I was told to sit and wait.

Now I'm just about out of time and can't get anywhere. The load isn't ready, and instead of sleeping in a decent rest area where I can get food and a clean restroom I'm parked in a gravel lot where the most advanced facility is a portapotty. Looks like its bottled water and trail mix for me tonight.
