I'm tired of mum telling me I'm being pissy every time I turn around. I pick up the laundry basket in a way she doesn't like, I'm being pissy. I type a bit too loudly, I'm being pissy. I close the door a little too quickly, I'm being pissy. I spend too much time doing any one thing, I'm being pissy. I do get fucking pissed off at her because she won't fucking stop telling me that I'm being pissy! It's like she tries to get me to scream at her just so that she can say "Ha, I told you so".

And for the times when I actually am slamming a door or being short with her, I wish she'd ask me about my shitty day and listen sympathetically instead of half-whining, half-yelling "Why are you being so pissy!?"

And she's the type of person who'll do everything all by themselves and moan and groan every step of the way, loud enough to be heard from two rooms away, but the minute you go in and ask if they need help they say "Oh no, I've got it, don't you worry about little old me". Her mother was exactly the same way and she fucking never let her get away with it. Whenever I call her out on her shit though, she just leaves the room and refuses to talk to me until she legitimately needs something.
