Once, when I had three, a bee bit me in THE LIP.
The bugger hid in my soda.
something similar happened to me. I was not stung, but a wasp spontaneously decided that my lips were attractive and landed right on it. I guess the sugary melon I was eating played a role, but jesus, I was "kissed" by a wasp... That was frightening. (and a long time ago)
Not as good as the guy who woke up to a tarantula drinking his eye fluids.
Ok, this belongs in the terrifying thread.

Sounds itchy.

I think you mean adorable. That's the greatest show of affection. They are all about eyes, because they have so many. Drinking your eye fluids is the equivalent of a big, sloppy kiss.

Today is a special day, in that my airport rage and insect rage have gloriously come together.

After my first plane was late getting in due to weather, as was my connecting flight, we were stuck on the Tarmac for an additional hour due to....wait for it......

A bee being stuck inside the flight control panel. They had to call maintenance to remove the flight control panel in the cockpit so they could get it out.

Extremist bees, trying to bring down 'Murcia.

So that's what causes colony collapse disorder. Bee sleeper cells that start killing bees with chemical weapons.

BBCode Tip: There's optional properties you can add to [IMG] tags, Like [IMG Width=600]. Resizes the images. It's awesome.

As terrifying as those guys look, the "Stinger" is actually just a male Scorpionfly's junk.

...On second thought, I am not sure if that makes it better.

Well, I gotta say: that was more adorable when I thought it was used to kill people.

Now you know that that awesome weapon of death is actually used to make babies.
