Huge amounts of time doign nothing, pointlessly random fighting, under-equipped, poor morale, all around miserable? That's war in real life. That one quote "The life of a soldier is long periods of boredom followed by short periods of terror" fits pretty well, except you don't actually die, so terror is just stupid.
But it's supposed to be a game. And so enjoyable. It's more like a tedium simulator.

Come to think of it, there is a significant amount of hanging back at rear bases repairing vehicles and organising things. At least, if you're in any sort of group.

Playing with a group really makes up for a lot of the problems. I was a fighter pilot for the Vindies before Planetside2 decided that I didn't get to play anymore for some reason that I didn't care enough to fix. It was loads of fun.

Don't remind me; when you're a small and XXL is the normal size?

* Flying Dice sighs.

No such thing as clothes that fit, unless they're hand-me-downs from thirty years ago.

At least you don't have to wear either fuck-off boots or skater shoes due to having hobbit feet.

Honestly to me it isn't length that will kill you... it is width. (well unless you are a woman... in which case my condolences you have it worse then I do)

So, for example my EXACT shoe size is 13 and yet no size 13 in existence COULD fit me... A straight up size 14 doesn't fit and even a 15 is snug.

So to correct you it isn't when you have hobbit feet... It is when you have Rhino feet.

Unless that is what you meant :P

That is what I meant.

All these years, and you don't know that I'm male?

Fat clothes are significantly more prevelant than clothes that I can actually wear. Especially blazers and trousers, since they need to have longer sleeves, and hardly anywhere makes clothes that have both long sleeves and not-wide waists.

Does anyone OTHER then me dislike Jeans? Like... period?

They are just so heavy and inflexible.

I dislike Jeans too, but it's mainly because I prefer something more loose and with more ventilation.
And that, is why I wear shorts in Michigan winter.

Whenever I shop for my own jeans i have a tendency to end up with jeans 2 sizes too big because the "right" size feels like its strangling my legs. =_=

Yeah, I've got big hips and I'm quite flat-chested.  The combo means it's really hard to buy shirts that fit, because most blouses are supposed to accentuate the shift from chest to waist to hip. . . so it's very seldom I can find something that fits at all.  End result: Annie Hall look.

Apparently I've an oddly shaped torso which means shirts and suit jackets sit strange on my shoulders. It's bearable, but if I had to wear either regularly I'd need to see a tailor.

I never liked jeans until I got some baggy ones. Still wear a lot of cargo/combat pants.
