I suspect my roommate is blocking me from his router. Since I got back from a week of job training and family stuff, only his tower appears to be able to connect to the router, while all other devices are blocked. He's not around to ask, but knowing him this is some kind of passive-aggressive stunt. It wouldn't be a problem, except that I need internet access in order to work and make phone calls today.

Resets and whatnot don't appear to be effective here. I'm patched directly to the Modem right now, and considering how to bring this up with him when he gets home. Also, whether this living situation is one I want to continue living in. Seriously, if you have a problem with something, talk to me, and we'll resolve it. You don't keep quiet about it, and screw around like this to "get back" at someone else. That's friggin' stupid, and doesn't address the problem. It just pisses people off.

Hot grease splatter. Got all over me. Holes where the outer layers of skin used to be. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
Oh wow... ouch, Lagslayer. Keep it clean, bandage it well, and if it's covering a wide area of skin, consider seeing a doctor. You don't realize how much your skin does to keep you healthy until you're missing a large part of it.

At some point, your dakka will be enough to destroy all of existence past, present, future, and multiverse.  At that point the act of applying that dakka will paradox itself into never happening.  I think that is too much dakka.
Dangit, now I have to sig this.

My brother did that so many times over the years. Thankfully he stopped recently, and has moved out so it's no longer an issue.

FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU-

The gardamned wheelbarrow I was carting got caught on something, and I got my shin slammed against it so hard it instabruised. My lower left leg is a mass of throbbing PAIN from ankle to knee.

I'm kinda limpy now and I have work in two hours. <long stream of profanity in multiple languages>

Mild rage. The people working in town hall get to leave, with pay, if the temperature inside gets over 27 degrees Celsius. We, the people workin outside, have no limit. Meaning we could be out working in thirty plus temperatures with insane humidity. Not cool bros.

Unrelated: It's barely a day after the Zimmerman trial and there is already a 2nd person, who was part of the proceedings, who is writing a book. Zimmerman's friend already wrote a book before the trial, and now one of the jurors will too.

It pisses me off that people are so quick to try and parlay their experience in this thing into money. When some fucknut was selling Trayvon Martin stuff right after the shooting, it was equally repugnant.

On the one hand, people living through momentous experiences good and bad probably need to get it off their chests, and in the event of something tragic maybe even should seek any form of compensation they can.

But these two? They're tangential to the actual story but saw ways to make a buck off it, by writing tell alls as fast as they could possibly get a publisher on the phone, or say yes to the eventual phone call.

And the best part....the juror's agent is Sharlene Martin, the same woman who represented OJ when he wrote the "If I Did It" book.

I've been hearing from people that WB has been trying to do as much as they can to sabotage Pacific Rim's success by mishandling the marketing because of Legendary Pictures splitting from them and going to Universal.

I don't even know how i managed to accomplished it, but...I cut my thumb. With a butter knife. And then I had to go and look around most of my house because I was never told where the bandaids are. I finally find them, hidden in a corner, only to find that the only bandaids left are these teeny tiny ones barely able to cover it.

Maybe it's because struggling to stay awake at work has me slightly unhinged, but I could barely contain my laughter while reading Frumple's bug rage.

Having the time of my life right now.  First two days ago I update my drivers.  No problem there for two or three shutdowns.  Then yesterday I have a problem with my computer starting up.  Then my desktop settings delete itself so I spend three hours trying to figure out what the problem is.  And now my computer is randomly freezing, and according to a diagnostic I ran my computer does not have a hard drive, yet another diagnostic says otherwise.  Wonderful.

It's 2:31 am.
I want to sleep.
But there's a waterbug crawling about on the couch I sleep on.

I'm really paranoid right now after it crawled on my multiple times, so I'm just going to use myself as bait to catch him.

EDIT: Fuck it, it's not showing, so I'm just going to try to sleep.

If true, this pisses me off. I'm also slightly amused, though, because every single person I know who knows what PR is has been really hyped for it, either on their own or because of the reaction of someone else they know who saw it.
